I går var det 20 år siden Jeff Porcaro døde. Jeg husker det stadig meget tydeligt, selv om jeg kun var 15 år. Jeg savner ham stadig helt vildt. Han var den første trommeslager jeg rigtigt studerede, og hans indflydelse på hvordan jeg opfattede (og stadig opfatter) groove, tidsfornemmelse og stil på trommerne, kan ikke overdrives. Han var en af verdens bedste og han nåede at indspille med så mange forskellige kunstnere, at man næsten taber pusten ved at læse listen.
